Your rig is one of your most valued possessions so we can understand how sending it via courier for a repack can be an alien concept. To try and answer some of the many questions you may have we’ve created a timeline that shows you the process from beginning to end.
Although we’ve done this many times and our customers send their rigs to us from as far as field as Edinburgh we treat every repack with the utmost care and attention. We have a very good relationship with our courier and build in regular customer updates so we keep you informed of the progress of your collection and subsequent delivery.
Have a look at the timeline below and feel free to ask any questions in the comments section below or on our FaceBook Page.
The Repack Timeline
First Contact
Once you book your repack via our dedicated repack site we’ll be in touch to confirm any extra details we need and talk you through the process. We’ll book the courier and send you an address label for you to attach to your packaged rig.
Cut Off Time
We don’t have a cut-off time but, if you contact us before 10 am on a Monday morning that gives us the best chance to get your rig back to you in time for the weekend.
Monday
Pick up Day
You can have your parcel collected from your home or work address or even drop it off at one of the many UPS collection points located across the UK. You can find your nearest drop off point on the UPS website.
In Transit
Once collected your rig enters the world’s largest package delivery system and is fully insured at all times, the packing slip that we sent you has the tracking number on so you can track the progress of your rig at any time.
Tuesday
We Work Our Magic
Your rig should arrive with us the day after collection and at this point, we inspect all of the components, including the main and reserve. Once complete we will book the return courier for the following morning and pass the tracking details to you.
Wednesday
The Return Journey
We’ll hand over your completed rig to the courier and send you a message to let you know.
As with the initial collection, the delivery address can be flexible as well. You can have it delivered to your home address, a UPS collection point, your work address and some people have also had their rigs delivered to the DZ ready for their next visit (make sure you inform the DZ first).
Thursday
Happy Customer
Today should see the return of your rig and with the tracking number, you should be able to see the progress at any time. That whole process only took four days but we like to allow 5 days in case of any unforeseen circumstance.
ORDER YOUR RESERVE RE-PACK
